Playday – January 2017

Swindon Symphony Orchestra is delighted to be hosting an open orchestral playday on the 21st January 2017.

The playday has two purposes:

1. Orchestra members to get early sight of the programme
2. Non-members to play with the orchestra

This playday is open to all orchestral players of a reasonable standard.  There is no fee.

We are not limiting places, but we do ask that you let us know that you are coming.  You can do this by emailing members@swindonsymphonyorchestra.org.uk or using the Contact Us facility.

We will primarily be looking at rehearsing these items for our upcoming concert:

• Liszt – Symphonic Poem “Les Prelude”
• Dohnanyi – Konzertstuck for Cello and Orchestra
• Tchaikovsky – Symphony No 4 in F Minor.

If you do join us, then don’t forget to bring your own lunch!
