Swindon 175 Celebration

A concert of lighter orchestral music to to celebrate Swindon 175. All musical items have a link with Swindon…See if you can work out the Swindon connections of Star Wars, Harry Potter, Rachmaninoff 2nd piano concerto and others!

Lebhardt_KaupoKikkas2Swindon Symphony Orchestra is delighted to be able to present Daniel Lebhardt as the soloist for the concert.  The Hungarian pianist has impressed audiences and critics alike with his thoughtful interpretations and outstanding virtuosity.  Mr. Lebhardt won First Prize at the 2014 Young Concert Artists Auditions in Paris, and then won YCA’s International Auditions in New York, where he was also awarded the Paul A. Fish Memorial Prize and four concert prizes.

This concert will be at the Steam Railway Museum in Swindon, a first for Swindon Symphony Orchestra.
